Found this little shop on Google. Amazing customer service and prices here. Sam was very nice, clearly know's what he is doing. He did incredible work, my shoes look like new. Will definitely be going back.

-
My go-to place to repair shoes -they’ve revived many a pair of worn out shoes, it’s almost miraculous. Even after moving far away, I still make the trip out there to have my new shoes soled and old shoes repaired.
-
They’re were able to fix my Gucci bag. Lifesaver. Happy that I’ve found a reputable place to take shoes and bags.
-
The best place for shoe/bag and wallet repairs!!
Strongly recommended if you want quality ? -
Excellent, quality workmanship. Very professional, very personable and friendly store with knowledgeable staff. They did a great job on all my boots; heels; and purses.

-
I was to Japan on vacation and I had an old Prada short cross body bag but I needed it longer and you figured it... I used it every day on my trip and everybody wanted to know where I got it.. You guys are well worth the money. So thank you, thank you for everything! You always come through!
-
Fantastic service. I thought they closed but it turns out they just moved down the street. So glad they are still here in BH.
-
They did a great job with my Christian Louboutin soles. They look brand new again and the good thing is, they will always look bright red because of the material they use.
-
This is the only place I trust to repair my designer shoes and bags. My Valentino heels had rips on the leather of the heel. After taking it to Arturo, I can't even tell where the rips were.
The also made my light colored Gucci disco bag that had become discolored from my jeans rubbing on it look like new.
They also do a great job at making the top tips of your heels look brand new.
One time I brought them 4-5 very beaten down designer and non designer shoes (including one Valentino flat that was beaten up and needed a new sole in it, a Prada bootie with a broken heel) plus one designer bag that needed cleaning. They did all of this for about $110. Very reasonable!!!
They are able to make anything look like new. -
they are gone!!
i went there yesterday and they are no longer in business.
i have written an email to them asking if they have moved.
wow! -
This place truly knows what they're doing and they treat everyone beautifully!
-
I can't believe Arturo's is moving after 30 years . I had my
Louboutins refurbished at Arturo's yesterday .
And they are the best
Ari is the nicest guy
Can't wait for the move to the better location -
Took a 6 year old leather jacket in for a tune up and it came out looking brand new. Arturo's knows what they are doing! Highly recommend.
-
Wow this place is best work I have ever seen very impressed took my old beat up LV pi Bag to have repair when I went pick it up look le like new
I thought it was pricey when I left the bag
But there worth every penny
I am very happy with their work and their customer service is excellent -
Arturo's always does a great job making your favorite shoes, purses and belts look brand new.
-
I can always count on Arturo's!!! They do quality work on both my shoes and bags and it looks like new. I was always afraid to alter designer items but they are the best at keeping everything authentic. And affordable never disappointed. They do it all. And they are all so friendly. Make sure you come with cash or check. I always forget they don't take cards.

This review is long overdue. I'm a long time customer. I've been coming to Arturo's for years and wouldn't bring my luxury shoes or handbags to anywhere else. The service and quality of their repair is top notch. I trust to bring all my Louboutin shoes, Chanel and Bottega handbags and other items for cleaning and repair and the outcome has always exceeded my expectations. Always consistent. I trust that they'll always do a good job. They know what they're doing so don't even bother give him a hard time! Ari is always so professional, kind, and fun to talk to. They're hands down the best in the Los Angeles area!
Make sure to bring cash or check only. They don't accept credit cards.

AMAZING!! There's no better place in greater LA to repair shoes and handbags you care about! I gave Arturo's a "mission impossible" task of recreating some leather pieces that had decomposed on an antique Italian chandelier and.... Voila! They did it... and for a very reasonable price too. I can't sing their praises loudly enough.
-
They have never let me down! The quality of their work is consistently top notch. Every item that I have brought in has been fixed perfectly to look brand new again. I don't know how they do it. The results of the repair work done here have exceeded my expectations every time.

Last week, I tripped and broke my Valentino Rock Stud shoes. I'm such a klutz, haha... It was quite upsetting, so I called up a friend and asked if they knew of any great cobblers (shoe repair guys) in the Beverly Hills area, and they told me to visit Arturo's. I walked in with my torn up and messed up Valentinos the next day. Ari, Arturo's grandson, was very helpful, kind, and professional. I was in and out in about five minutes. It also only took about one week to fix my shoes, and the price was so reasonable. I believe I paid about 85 bucks- soles, heel, polish, etc. that's a pretty good price imo! Side note: they only take cash or check, and thank g-d I never walk out of my house without cash. Anyway, I picked up my shoes yesterday, and I am so pleased with their work! No complaints what so ever... and I will be back :)
-
Always and forever where I'll trust my 'good stuff' to be properly taken care of. There's just some things if you want done right you gotta go to Beverly Hills. 1. Your fancy shoes and bags. 2. Your nose.
-
Arturo's is AMAZING!
I honestly don't know how he did it, I turned in a beat up pair of shoes and gave them back like new, worth the money paid ! -

Awesome!
Arturo's is the best - they'll revive any shoe you have, can hack off a bit of the heel on a pair that you think are too high, or fix worn out soles plus the usual - weather proofing, polishing, and general repair. -
Best in LA
I highly recommend this place next time you have to get a pair of shoes fixed...don't let the look of the place fool you...it's small and messy...but just looking at the amount AND designer names of bags and shoes they have fixed at this place--you can fully trust them. I just had a pair of my beloved Moschino's fixed and they're as good as new...LOVE THEM!!! and it only cost me $11 -
I love this place
This place is absolutely awesome. I brought a pair of near garbage Stuart Weitzmans to them and basically told them to do whatever it takes so they look like new. I mean, these shoes were busted up. They told me they would re-dye the leather and put a new sole. I picked them up 4 days later and now I have a new pair of shoes. They are friendly and professional. They are reasonably priced for their services. Highly recommend them. -
I have nothing but praises for this repair company.
I have nothing but praises for this repair company. They hire good people and they don't charge too much for their repair service. -

I've seen people bring in shoes from as high end as Prada, and you can trust these guys - they're awesome and do great work.
Very good pricing - my stiletto boots are a tad shorter in the heel, making them easier to walk in and it cost me $12.

Arrogant They do great work. However, when they couldn't find my shoe they were to have repaired and I had to make another trip back to the stop with the mate so they could find it, they were arrogant about their own mistake and oddly implied that I had somehow been the one to have made them loose the shoe. If you can get over the awful parking in the middle of Beverly Hills and the attitude to go with it, your shoes will get repaired for a nice hefty price.

Not only did work, but LISTENED Arturo himself greeted me, and unlike so many other shoe repairmen in Beverly Hills, actually LISTENED to my problem. My situation involved an Italian briefcase with a broken buckle. I needed it rush-ordered and he took control of the situation. While he was not able to produce the exact buckle, the match that he found fit perfectly with the style of the other clasps on the case and he charged HALF of what the last place I took it to did! Arturo's was a breath of fresh air after having to get refunds at other stores due to poor workmanship. Thanks!
-
Review Very professional, great quality work and reasonably priced
-
the dudes are honest and helpful. they didn't have the thread to match my bag and the guy told me how i could fix it myself. thanks!
-
Thanks, Yelpers!! I gave Arturo's a chance after reading all these excellent reviews, and everyone is right. The straps on a Large Cole Haan bucket bag needed refilling and restitching and a tote bag needed to have the clasp fixed. They are perfect now. Arturo's is definitely worth the trip if you live out of the area.
-
arturo fixed my chloe purse! it looked like it was back to the way i had originally bought it. the clasp had broken off and i didn't know where else to take my purse to. my sister recommended this place and i couldn't be happier. thanks!
-
For a shop filled with gucci, blahnik, and lv's, the price is very reasonable. All those expensive shoes/bags make me feel better about trusting him with my irreplaceable heels. $35 for new heel tips and reconstructing a disconnected heel base. I think they were done in 4 days.
-
Arturo's is well worth a trip across town if you need repairs on shoes or a bag you truly love. And I'm incredibly picky about cobblers! After reading the raves on Yelp, I took my 2 favorite bags & a pair of shoes with a broken heel to Arturo, who repaired all 3 so that they're just like new. One of the bags took a bit longer than he originally told me it would, but that's because he hunted down hardware that looked so close to the broken original, I can't tell the difference. He's a perfectionist & really appreciates women who love shoes & bags.
-
I took some boots here and they did an amazing job. I even had snow stains from the salt that I didn't clean off after my trip to new york and they got the stains out. They looked brand new. The customer service is amazing as well. I don't trust my shoes to any other repair shop anymore. I accidentally went down the street to Shoe Wiz and they ruined an expensive pair of sandals. I will never make that mistake again and will always come back to Arturo's.
-
Really nice guy who's skills are amazing!! Charged me $10 for something that could have cost a lot more...
-
Really great service. There is an old gentleman there, not sure if it is Aurturo but he smiles at me in such a cute way, like a baby smiles at a stranger, and it makes me happy and melt inside. I got one pair of shoes fixed there and they look great!
-
The reinforcement in my purse's handlebar was showing. I went to Arturo's and they fixed it in a few days at a reasonable price. Yay :)
-
the heel from my gucci shoes decided to just come off completely. just one day, i was walking and pop, it fell off. pretty bad for $500 pair of shoes. Took them to gucci but they referred me here.
Took my heels and my boyfriend's old gucci loafers that he is in love with to get the re-soled and cleaned. Looks just like new -
Are your dress shoes tired and worn down? Leather items tearing or just in need of a facelift? Arturo can make just about anything look as good as new. I brought in my beloved Gucci loafers and for $80 he gave them new life adding a new rubber heel and cleaning them. I have brought Tod's, Prada sandals, Miu Miu heels, and handbags here and each one looks fantastic and wears well. Arturo will tell you up front if he can fix it and approximate how much it will cost, this avoids any surprises when you come back to pick up. Park in the metered lot off Little Santa Monica.
-
They did a great job fixing a pair of shoes for my wife and with a fair price.
What they really impressed me with is rather than just fixing a pair of my shoes and taking my money, Arturo flat out told me it's not worth fixing and to buy a new pair of shoes. Which was disappointing because they are an awesome (resoled several times) pair of Armani shoes.
Took them to Shoe Wiz down the street which I do not recommend. They "fixed" my shoes... They resoled them, but rather than replace the welt that was detached and hanging off, they just glued the old welt back down and got glue sorta all over. A real hack job. Once that glue breaks down the welt is going to start peeling right off again I bet in a few months. Cost me $100.
-
Thanks for fixing my Gucci purse! Great work! Recommended to me by the Gucci store and very pleased with the service and quality! :)
-
When I lived in BH I used to get my shoes shined here all the time. Nice man. One time he came out of the back and showed me a pair of Gucci loafers, they looked like new. He said that they were my size and the person who brought them in for new soles never came back and picked the shoes up. He said give me $25.00 for the new soles and you can have them. WOW $25.00 for a $500.00 pair of shoes. Thanks Arturo.
-
I am still bringing my shoes here! I lowered my rating by one star because I've seen women in their shop twice having heart attacks because they can't find their items. Then, it happened to me. The shop is a little disorganized, but they haven't messed up my shoes yet!!!!
-
The very best in the greater LA area.
I have thousands of dollars invested in shoes and wouldn't trust ANYONE except Arturo's with my shoe repairs.
I schlep all the way from the Valley simply because they're the BEST!
A+
-
AMAZING service.
Went in and left with my shoe in less than an hour. I had a broken heel and they fixed it. Super cheap and right next to sprinkles. Get a cupcake and wait outside.
Thank you for fixing my favorite pair of heels, without charging me more than my actual shoes cost.
-
Why hello Arturo. You are so discreetly hidden within arm's length of the equally wonderful Sprinkles, but it is a gem worth discovering.
OK, I am finally writing a review for Arturo's because a kind Yelper reminded me that I had a pair of boots from last fall that I needed to get fixed -- specifically, I need to get the calf taken in. I was quoted $200+ at Pasquale's as well as another shoe cobbler in Beverly Hills, so I was feeling quite a bit defeated. It's not my fault my calves are not the standard 14-15"!! In any case, I walked into Arturo's, dimly lit and cramped, and he walked right out, asked me to try them on, and said he could do it for less than what I had been quoted elsewhere.
Of course, I was a bit nervous because I've never had such a thing done before, but my boots are absolutely PERFECT. Arturo's is open on Saturday's, making it very convenient for non-work days drop-offs and pick-ups. I plan on being a regular once I climb an income bracket or 5.
-
WOAH!!!! I seriously was so angry at the world when my new light blue YSL bag that I have had for less than a month got a stain right in the F'n front. It was totally discolored and even more totally obvious. I was about to shoot someone when my good friend told me about this place. When I called, the gentleman was very honest about possibly *not* being able to get it out as it was a light color. I crossed my fingers and brought it anyway.
I figured, since I was there I had a pair of Chanel shoes that the strap broke. I've had Chanel attempt to repair them (even sent them to NY and back) and they came back still broken.
They told me it would take about one week.
One week later, I came back to a brand new bag and a new pair of shoes. I swear to GOD I thought both items were ruined. The cost was $30 to repair the bag and $20 to repair the shoes. They could not get the stain out, so they color dyed the stain to match the bag. GENIUS!!! Shoes were perfect.
I heard from a bird that Gucci takes all their repairs here also.
-
This place is the shit.
They fix shoes. They clean leather.
They set your expectations appropriately about how much of a miracle they'll be able to work on the shoes you've already had fixed 5 times. Hell, they've even told me when it wasn't worth it to spend the money cleaning a pair of boots.
The prices are very reasonable.
No credit cards.
I don't mess with anyone else.
-
Thanks to yelpers who trusted their (way nicer than mine) shoes to Arturo's I figured I could bring in mine to be rehealed, cleaned, sole reattached..etc. I've probably brought in a total of 8-10 shoes that just needed to be freshened up or fixed and they did a great job. I also brought in a few purses that again, didn't need a major repair but look like brand new purses after Arturo cleaned them up.
Remember, isn't a shoe repair shop - this is a cobbler. That means old school. Ask for a price beforehand and make sure to hold on to your ticket.
-
I just received my handbag from Arturo's. My handbag had some stubborn stains and Arturo got them out! I was a little apprehensive when I dropped it off because I needed them to ship it back to me. As promised, they shipped it back and I received it no problem.
-
They are pretty straight forward guys, do a great job on the shoes, and have great customer service! They are fairly priced too. I just hate the parking situation and, at times, they seem a tad disorganized.
-
The absolute best repair shop in west los angeles.i've been a customer for 20 years and i've never been disappointed. they are not cheap but given their location how can they be. the quality lives up to their pricing. i have one pair of boots that i love that are 30 years old......every time they need to be refurbished(and i do mean refurbished),they amaze me.
-
I've been going since I was a kid and it's the only place I trust with my favorite bags and shoes... I love David and Arturo it's a true family owned rad shop that's like a couture candy shop all in one
-
Thanks to Arturo, I had my shoes repaired for what I would've probably spent on two cupcakes in Beverly Hills! My shoes started to make noise, as the soles were coming apart, so I went back to the store that I bought them from and they referred me to Arturo's which was up the street from the store. I was expecting to spend probably near as much as I paid for the shoes but Arturo charged me almost nothing. Thanks so much Arturo and I appreciate the quality and fast shoe repair!
-
I went to Arturo's with a specific request. My daughter had llain her purse on a heater an and d basicallly "cooked" the front of it. It was hard and brittle as well as discolored. All she wanted for her birthday was to repair her favorite bag. I went to the Coach Store in Pasadena and the manager recommended Arturo's. So, two trains and a bus later I arrived. It is basically a "hole in the wall" place so I was somewhat skeptical. I presented the bag and they said to come back in two weeks. When I returned Arturo himself waited on me. He is a tiny man in at least his 80's and always smiling. I took one look at the purse and, oh my goodness! It looked brand new! The scarred leather had been replaced, the color was the same as the rest of the bag and I certainly couldn't tell where the new leather was. My daughter was thrilled!
-
For those of you who rather buy a fantastic pair of shoes vs. eating for a couple of months, I think you know how important it is to have a good cobbler!
So I moved from Boston to LA and I wanted to cry when I had to say good bye to my cobbler back in Boston.
Once I arrived in LA I was hit with anxiety...hello people in this town don't ever walk! they drive everywhere! What am I suppose to do for a good cobbler!!!
I did some research (took a couple of months) and found Arturo's. When I walked in with my arms filled with my fabulous shoes that were dying for some repair, the shoes were looked over and Arturo's first comment to me was "DO YOU KNOW HOW TO WALK?" My response "I drink a lot"! That was a beginning of a fabulous friendship!
btw...he is offering his services online now! Since you can't see me, I will have you know I am doing the happy dance for you!

This is the place to get your shoes, handbags, and leather jackets refinished repaired and refreshed. They do it all from heels and tips to most any other delicate repair. They have a great history of excellent work done by cobblers and artisans. Recently I've tried a couple of other shoe repair shops that came with great referrals but truly the work was incomparable with what I've come to expect. Arturo's is the place!
-
I brought my white coach bag in to have cleaned and they re-dyed it perfectly! Like new for $60...totally worth it! They also re-did the heel of one of my favorite shoes that my dog chewed up to the bone. I thought it was past the point of repair, but they made it just like new!
-
You wouldn't know it from the looks of this place -- but this guy does AMAZING work. He AIN'T CHEAP and its cash only but they work hard and they do a great job.
-
In 2004 I took in one pair of 1999 Justin Ropers with their heel and sole beat to hell, as any good ropers should be.
Arturo put a brand new heel and sole on the boots for well under a hundred dollars. I still wear them today. Yeah, I'm a fan.
-
This would have been a 5 star review HOWEVER...
Let me tell you, finding a good cobbler for expensive shoes is extremely important! After reading articles on The Purse Forum I found that ladies there recommend going to Arturo's for their Louboutins.
I brought my own vibrams that I wanted put on my Daffs before heading to vegas and was surprised at how inexpensive it was (especially for his work).
There is one MAJOR CON to this place and its the one man working in the front. He is not the master cobbler but instead he is an overly sarcastic, egotistical, I couldn't care less about your shoes because I see them everyday, I'll ignore you till you speak to me first front desk paper pusher.
Honestly, if it weren't for that guy, I wouldn't even mind coming back even though it took an hour to get here!
Parking is not bad, there are public parking lots on the back side of Santa Monica ($2 per hour). Getting there is a pain unless you happen to live a couple of blocks away from Rodeo haha.
The place is small, and located in one of the busiest areas of LA. I suggest going early and asking for same day service (if possible) and grab a cupcake or two while you wait.
-
I have taken all 6 pairs of my Louboutins here to have red rubber soles added and let me just say these guys are TRUE PROFESSIONALS. They inspect your shoes with you before and after. Not just that but my fianc wanted to add suede to the bottom of his shoes for our wedding and they told us not to do it BC it would be too slippery. They could have said nothing and taken our money but they were HONEST and HELPED us out. I give them an A+ for their TOP notch work, their integrity and their friendly demeanor.
-
I have been going here for years and cannot say enough good things about this place. I discovered him from one of the sales associates at Neiman Marcus. He told me that they send all of their own shoe repairs there. Having a real love for expensive shoes, finding a place like this that specializes in designer shoe and handbag repairs is invaluable. He has saved a few of my shoes after a good night out. I am such a big fan even if he joked that I should stop playing soccer in my stilettos.
p.s. He does brilliant work on Louboutins and will keep your bottoms the perfect signature red!
-
What can I say. They fix everything ranging from a cracked prada heel to my fading, wounded Balenciaga. I drive from Woodland hills to come here and don't even think about it. The price is worth the magic they do to your injured stuff. It's an ol school joint in the heart of Beverly Hills. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. They are very straight to the point, so have an idea about what you want before you go in. Love this place!
-
Today will be my 3rd trip to Arturo's while in town from the Midwest. The first time he repaired my torn up Louboutin heels from walking on brick paved streets and they looked brand new when I picked them up. The second time I took a pair of Louboutin sandals I loved and had truly worn out after 6 years....they were ready for the trash but I had not found a suitable replacement so decided to spend the $100. Arturo gave them a new life and winked then smiled recommending I come to him a little sooner next time.
Now I have a new mission can he make my Leopard Louboutin's more comfortable to wear? -
I have been taking my shoes and handbags to Arturo for more than 25 years. He is a master at his craft! He has exceeded every expectation. Even though he is in Beverly Hills, he does not overcharge and when he says something will be ready it's ready. I highly recommend Arturo for all your foot wear and handbag needs. His staff is very accommodating, Friendly and the whole field is like being one of the family. Keep it up Arturo!
-
These guys get the job done. I was a bit skeptical about the timeliness of their work upon intially entering their shop. There are literally things hanging in bags from the ceiling, and it doesn't seem to be a very reliable inventory system. Yet when I dropped my two pairs of shoes off, I was offered a later-that-day or tomorrow pickup. Not bad. I opted for next day since I wasn't in a hurry.
The person manning the front desk took the time to look over my shoes (which I brought in for re-tipping) and pointed out that I might want to reinforce the toe on my new Pradas (on a side note, seriously!? I wore them like 4 times and they already needed re-tipping and reinforcing!?) Since I had already sunk a few Bennies into them I took him up on his offer.
The next day at pickup was the real treat. There was quite the cast of characters--Arturo wandering around, a couple of helper dudes and then this awesome "old school" kinda guy who kept urging everyone to tell me that I got a "special price." It was straight out of the books of some of my grandparents friends from back in the day, which made my shoe experience more charming :)

Here's my sad story with a happy ending. I received a beautiful, periwinkle blue, Kate Spade handbag from a friend as a gift. Everywhere I went, people stopped me to compliment said purse. And then one day, I noticed these strange and mysterious white spots all over the purse - as if a container of hot milk had splashed all over the surface except the purse was never near a container of hot milk, at least not in my presence. I tried some non-abrasive cleaning spray at home and the spots didn't budge. I took the purse into Kate Spade and had them try some of their high-falutin' handbag cleaner on the spots, and, no luck. They told me that the purses are under a one-year guarantee and if I had the receipt, I could have the bag replaced. (This is a good-to-know tip for Kate Spade customers!) But since the purse was a gift, I didn't have the receipt and the year was almost up. It seemed the bag was permanently ruined, destined to collect dust in my closet. As a last resort and praying for a miracle, I decided to take the purse to a handbag repair shop. I googled the best handbag repair shop in the city and read an incredible review for Arturo's in the LA Times. Clearly, if anyone could fix this bag, it was Arturo's. I dropped off the bag and was told they would do their best. About a week later, I received a call that they were unable to remove the spots and they tried the most heavy duty leather cleaner known to man. I prepared to mourn the loss of the bag again when the fellow on the phone said, "We can try to match the dye and cover the spots that way. Would you like us to try that?" I said, "YES, please!!" A few days later they texted me a photo of a small test section and honestly, David Blaine has nothing on these guys. The dye was a perfect match and the spots in that section had totally vanished!! I went to pick up the bag today and it is not hyperbole when I say, "IT LOOKS BRAND NEW!" They charged me $90 which is way less than a brand new Kate Spade bag and oh so worth it. They do not accept credit cards so come armed with cash or a checkbook. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
-
I tried to remove an ink pen stain from a Chanel handbag.....and honestly..... I
made the stain look worse. I took the bag to Arturo's and they said they would do their best but made no guaranties of how it would come out.
I picked the bag up a week later and their work was flawless !!! The ink mark
was gone and the leather finish was near perfect. And their price was very
reasonable too.
There's a reason this place is jammed full of designer items for repair.
Thank you for doing such a magnificent job on a very expensive bag.
Highly recommend. -
family run and true craftsman. I've been coming here for years, and they never disappoint. Best in town. Fix everything from Hermes, Balenciaga, Celine, Chanel there is no job they cannot do.

It's hard to find a good leather repair place in l.a. I came here because my leather jacket had a blemish on one of the sleeves and I was nervous to take it anywhere. My tailor highly recommended Arturo's and I'm so glad I went. Not only did they color match the leather perfect, it was also super affordable. I will be taking all my shoes and leather goods here from now on. Highly highly recommended!!!

This shoe repair shop works fast! I stopped in with two pairs of shoes, and 10 minutes later both shoes were shinned and the gentleman at the counter was pleasant and professional.
-
This place is old school and I love it. I trust them with high-end shoes and they did a great job stretching them out without changing the integrity of the leather. They lost my ticket and it took a while for them to find my boots, but hey, it happens.
Tip: make sure you bring cash or check.

I used to come here many years ago and stopped...I don't even know why. I just picked up a pair of Chanel flats that had a deep gouge in the toe. Arturo polished them and refurbished my flats and they are like new. I also had a pale pink summer flat that was in need of refreshing. They also look brand new. I was so happy with my shoes that I just went through my closet to bring my shoes that need to be brightened up to Arturo. I spend a lot of money on good shoes and I get many more years out of them when they are touched up and resoled. The place can be super busy...be patient. The guys are all so nice. They will take good care of you!
-
Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Arturo's work is beautiful. A master cobbler, he shaves down Louboutin soles with the skill of a surgeon to make them meld seamlessly with replacement red soles. I've been going to him for years, and would trust no one else with my designer kicks.
Oh, and the aforementioned red soles cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $34. I'm told resoling jobs for other types of non-red-heeled shoes start at about $30. Well worth it.
-
I just picked up my designer shoes and couldn't be more satisfied!! He did a amazing job you can trust him I know he will get the job done keep up the good work!
-
My go-to for shoe and bag repair. I recently went here to suede protect my new Chloe handbag and they did a superb job!
-
Ari and his team always do a great job!
If the shoe fix isn't as I like it, Ari will take care of it :)CASH ONLY!!!
-
I have now taken four pairs of shoes to this shoe repair location. My shoes were ready on the day and time that was mentioned and in the condition if not better than what was promised. I'm beyond impressed by their ability to repair my shoes. I took in two designer dress shoes for my husband, a pair of heels and flats for myself. I brought a pair of heels in that we're beyond needing a cleaning and they were able to bring them to their original condition. Thank you! This place isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for, it's worth it when you consider the original price of the shoes.
-
This place is the best. I bring my high end shoes here to maximize their longevity. They've done an amazing job on all the shoes I've brought in.... heels, flats, boots. They're very attentive to the smallest details, tiniest scratches and scuff marks. They replace both rubber and leather shoe bottoms. I've yet to be disappointed. Customer service is also great. Staff are very friendly, helpful and professional.
-
The best repairs I've ever seen. It can be pricey so it isn't worth the repair for inexpensive items but I trust them with my best designer pieces. They rehabbed several bags that were worn and needed a complete reconditioning treatment. My best experience was with a pair of sandals I love. I thought I would need to throw them
out but Arturo's brought them
back to life! Ari will greet you and Joseph is a true repair expert. They do it right the first time. -
I love my dog Flower. She's a cute little mutt who likes to cuddle and make adorable f*cking faces that are impossible to get mad at... however, she was a pound rescue on death row when I got her. Needless to say, she came with some serious issues.
Keep reading, I promise this review has to do with Arturo's...
I came home from work one day to find a horrific scene: my very prized and not-so-cheap shoe collection (which I have treated with great care for over ten years now) had been ravaged. Piacotti pumps, Fendi flip-flops, Saint-Laurent sandals, Burberry boots...all destroyed. Bite marks, tears, and teeth imprints now "decorated" nearly $5,000 worth of salon shoes. I'm no Gil Grissom, but the culprit was pretty clear...it was the work of the 16-pound rescue dog, Flower, who was conveniently hiding under my bed as I screamed, shouted, and yes--even cried.
I launched a feverish shoe-repair search after throwing a 15-20 minute conniption fit, and decided to go with the cobbler that was closest to me: Arturo's. I thought my shoes were beyond salvage...but this man performed a miracle. He was able to fix EVERY single pair of shoes except one (because the platform was wood), and the repairs far exceeded my expectations. Cost: under $300, amazing.
I'm now a regular customer, and proud to report that Flower hasn't eaten any shoes since :)
-
I came here through a recommendation from my Chanel guy... Now I bring all of my designer shoes here and they do an amazing job!! Super fast too! Ari always takes care of me, he is amazing!! Super funny. Before Arturo's, I didn't think shoes could look brand new after being worn. I had a pair of Chanel flats I wore in the rain and he dyed it back to it's original pearl color! How cool is that!!
It's a bit pricey, every time I go I spend at least $200-300 to the minimum... But if you want your designer shoes to last, spending $50 before you wear them is not a bad idea.
Also, for parking, there is a public parking lot right next to rite aid. It's two hours free parking so don't stress about parking meters. -
Arturo and his staff/family are wonderful. Drama free, get in, tell them what you need and get out. Come in, pick up and leave. No crazy lines, just simplicity at its finest. He took all kinds of things while I was there, like a stained red leather D&G mini skirt, the color was amazing and he took it and said he would do his best?! And a white leather D&G jacket with black scuffs on it from how someone packed it. My shoes were resoled with leather and a rubber heel to avoid future wear down like I had this time. He did an amazing job. They also cleaned the inside linen lining of my Gucci bag, spectacular. And yes you pay for what you get, quality cost. My fix it shop! .
-
Best. Shoe Repair. Ever!!!!! I live in Long Beach and I take all of my high end shoes to Arturo's. They are artists when it comes to shoes. I have had shoes dyed, cleaned, repaired, heels replaced etc. I once purchased a pair of Tory Burch riding boots ($1,000) knowing they didn't fully zip due to my large calves but I knew Arturo's could do something to make them fit. They added leather to the back and made it look like detail that was part of the boots. They are AMAZING!
-
I love Arturo's !!!! I have being going for years - they always did a great job!!! I hope Arturo will keep on working for many years to come in good health - he is a true artist!
-
Arturo and his staff are amazing. I've been coming here for 12 years and they are
consistent. I trust them with my Choo's, Louboutin's, Chanel's and etc. They ROCK. Period.
-
I had a beautiful pair of louboutin boots, and they were destroyed from wearing them out!! Arturo's not only fixed up the soles and replaced missing studs , but the cleaning of the suede- I didn't think was possible ! Looks like I have a brand new pair of shoes !!!! I will definitely recommend, and worth the cost !!
-
Just got back my new wooden clogs and they are so much better after getting the soles swapped out so they would not make noise when I walk. Silent now. Worth every penny. Excellent work!
-
Old school cobbler, and they do masterful work! It's a bit iffy looking upon arrival with purses and shoes everywhere, making you think they might be disorganized, but the work they do is awesome and clearly they have return customers.
When I went in with my tall riding boots that needed gussets, they did a great job. Arturo got down on his knees to measure how big the gussets needed to be for each boot and quoted me a price (pricey, but you get what you pay for and the work was great). While I was standing there being measured, a guy came in with his nice loafers and made a joke about how Arturo is always waiting hand and foot on beautiful women, lol. Another woman was in the shop and she was raving about how Arturo does such good work and she trusts no one else with her fancy shoes (and this is Beverly Hills, so there were plenty of high-end Manolos, Laboutins, Choos, etc in there!). Overall, it was a great place and the gussets are barely even noticeable. I'll definitely return if I need a purse or other shoes repaired. A+
-
I've had several pairs of shoes and a purse repaired and/or cleaned and each experience was very positive. From inexpensive sandals to pricier pumps/purses I've always been pleased with the results.
Definitely pricier than your average shop, might be because of location, reputation, or both. It was a convenient stop as I used to work half a block away, but even now I'd still drive over if I needed shoes or bags repaired. I've referred friends and family as well.
The best results I had were a pair of nude suede pumps that were ruined after a night out - $25 later they came out looking almost brand new. Another time was my beloved olive green lamb skin bag. I had spilled a few drops of water and it stained. They were able to clean it in a strategic way and it looks wonderful.
The reason it didn't earn 5 stars is that their business hours are limited and they are more expensive than average.
-
They are simply the best their work is phenomenal there is no reason to go else where ! Just remember cash or check only
-
When my Givenchy purse broke three years back, I took it everywhere in New York looking for a fix. A custom metal pin in the handle had broken, and no one was able to replicate it. Barney's couldn't recommend anyone, and Givenchy in Paris had no more copies of the pin to fix it.
I shipped it out to Arturo's, in the hopes that my old go-to in LA could do the job. Lo and behold, it was fixed and shipped back to me within two weeks.
When it broke this time around, I sent it straight to Arturo's. It came back yesterday, another perfect job
-
I have been getting my shoes/boots repaired here for years.
There has never been a pair I do not trust them with.
They Are The Best!!!! -
Did a great job on a pair of Stuart Weitzman boots that had developed a hole in the fabric backing from driving. Very prompt, very friendly.
-
Thank goodness for this little piece of heaven on earth: shoe fixing from heaven! As a stylist, I'm referring my clients here ALL the time. They treat each pair as if they were their own - no matter the designer or cost of the shoe - which is way more than any other shoe refurbish establishment I've come across. Please open a store in NYC!!!
-
Back in January of 2009, I had taken a pair of black peau de soie shoes in since it looked as though somebody (me) had spilled chalk or baby powder onto the top. Since it is fabric and not leather or something more simple for myself to clean, I took it here to see what they could do for me. Less than $10 and not even a week later, I was treated to black shoes again! Now of course come February, someone steps on my foot as I'm wearing them, but that is not Arturo's issue. At least I know where I can go to get them cleaned.
Fast forward to 2013: one of the bottom parts of another pair of heels has detatched, and I was wondering why I was limping around. Once again, I'm taking them to Arturo's where I was surrounded by women who held Louis Vuitton bags and Louboutin shoes as I clutched my 2003 Kenneth Cole's. Nevertheless, the reps still made me feel worth their while and again, less than a week (even with Christmas day thrown in), I have a great pair of repaired heels.
I highly recommend Arturo's for any of your shoe needs, and apparently, handbags as well.
-
My puppy committed a horrible criminal act and decided to use my beloved Manolo Blahnik sandals as a chew toy. The heels were wooden, making the repair all that more difficult. I drove to Arturo's in Beverly Hills from Pasadena as I wouldn't trust anyone else with the repair. I had a pair of pricey heels repaired several years ago and was impressed with the work.
I picked up the sandals today a week later, and there was no evidence of the crime. Craftsmanship and attention to detail is par none. Arturo is 89-years-young, and is always there, working away.
Was the repair expensive, yes.......but it was absolutely worth it as no one else in Southern California could do the work Arturo's does. Word of warning, do not lose your claim check. There are no computers and it's cash or check only.
Hopefully my puppy has stopped her criminal activity on my shoes, if she hasn't, I will be seeing Arturo.
-
I scratched one of my favorite pair of leather shoes. They fixed it and made it good as new! Their service is great as well, very friendly and very welcoming! From now on, this is definitely my go-to place for leather repair and shoe cleaning!
-
This place is so insanely Italian, I'm surprised they don't serve Negronis at the door.
The guys here are the absolute best -- every project is done with extreme care and professionalism. They're very friendly and can do a range of alterations.
Side note: it smells really good in here....that fresh leather & shoe polish smell.
-
Arturo's is gd and you'll agree once you see his work for yourself! I was recently referred to him by a friend... I took in a pair of beige YSLs that were stained/scratched but were in semi-good condition. I couldn't decide if I wanted to get them cleaned or dyed black. He told me if I dyed them, they would look much better, so I took his word and had him dye them black. When I went to pick them up, I couldn't believe those were my shoes. I could have sworn he switched them for a new pair at the ysl store across the street. They look and smell so brand new that I'm almost scared to wear them! Thank you arturo :]
So happy I trusted his judgment and can't wait to take my other things to him!
Attached the photo so you can see for yourself.
-
I love Arturo's!! They just made my favorite boots like brand new again.
I highly recommend. -
The best shoe repair in southern California.
-
By far the best experience in Beverly Hills. These gentlemen are miracle workers. I started coming here about 10 years ago when my first pair of Manolos broke. It was shocking to me that at that time a $550 pair of shoes would break. I was devastated but Arturo's to the rescue! They put my shoes back together again for a great price and I got 10 years out of those things. Then it happened... my beloved Frenchie ate the heal of my favorite pair of heels. It was so bad I didn't think they could be repaired however, I figured it was worth a shot. And, alas, super heros again!! They fixed them. LOVE THIS PLACE!
-
I've been going to Arturo for years. He is the only person I trust with my expensive shoes because he is really ocd about making them look new. He also tells me honestly if he can fix something or not.
I had shoes that were rain damaged and he fixed them. He has even dyed shoes for me into different colors. He is a miracle worker.
The only downfall is the shop is a little overwhelming because it's so packed with shoes and pursues but it's a testament to how good he is at his job. I am always happy with how well he cleans and repairs my shoes.
I highly recommend him.
-
The is THE best shoe repair place in Los Angeles. Since I've started going to Arturo's I can't go anywhere else! The pricing is very fair for the quality of work done. I've been extremely happy with the results each time :-)
They are very friendly and are always happy to help.
-
Arturo's continues to surprise me with the impeccable quality of their work and sheer professionalism. Their work - without exaggeration - is art, and is a testament to generations of expertise they have garnered. Many, many shoes that I have believed to have been destroyed beyond repair have been miraculously brought back to life. It's very clear that they invest time and high quality products in their repairs evidenced by the fact that everything lasts much longer after a visit to Arturo's!
-
Note to customers - if you have a tight deadline for a repair this is not the place to go. They have a very high volume of repairs and likely can't do a rush order. Maybe they will if you pay extra. Be courteous to the owners, and they will be courteous back. I have been coming here for over a year and have never had a problem with their attitude or their quality. They are always very friendly to me. Sometimes they aren't as smiley but they are so busy I would not take it personally. No one has every repaired my purses and shoes better - they are the best. Also note - ask for the price beforehand. They are expensive and only take cash or check so it's better not to be surprised.
That said, I did ask them last week if it was possible to get the tips of my designer heels repaired in a week, in time for a business event I was going to. I told them no worries if not. He said probably. I was fine with that. Then, five days later, I got called for an immediate interview with a judge and I had to have my good shoes - the ones in their shop. I called them immediately and asked if I could pick them up the following morning. They fixed them the next morning for me, in time for my interview that afternoon. They did not have to rush my order, but they did which I really appreciate.
-
Amazing team of artisans...years of satisfied repairs, thank you Arturo's for reliable high quality work and friendly service. You're top notch.
-
I first learned of Arturo's years ago when I needed to repair a high-end designer shoe. It was an old shoe and the sales rep recommended Arturo's hands down. Until recently I haven't had a need to visit Arturo's, heel taps and shoe shines I just handle at my local spot. But, when my Louis Vuitton Cabas Mezzo (my favorite tote by the way) was dying a slow but sure death after 17 years of riding shotgun, I decided to try and resuscitate it. To be clear the monogram leather was in great condition, but the vachetta leather straps and bottom were pretty bad (see photos). So, off to Arturo's we went. I decided to replace the vachetta leather with black leather for an updated look. The entire job took 1 week. They did such an amazing job I feel like I'm cheating on my old bag. Thanks Arturo's!
-
If you own high-quality shoes and luxury bags, then it only makes sense to have them repaired and maintained by the best in the business. The best is Arturo's.
-
These guys did a wonderful job stretching my wedding shoes! Very reasonably priced and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them for tough specialty fabrics. Grateful I found them!
-
My favorite purse repair shop. Saved me some money and great work. My mom loved what he did to save her from feeling like she wasted money with LV on here only maybe 5 or 6 yr old purse. Great service thank you
-
Love love love! Arturo's made my Gucci mules look brand new again and omg the price can't be beat! Never going anywhere else. Thank you!!!
-
I would trust any pair of shoes or handbag to Arturo's for cleaning or repair. The price is just right, and quite reasonable for being in the heart of Beverly Hills. It cost only $12 to stretch some leather shoes-- quite worth it if you've had even one night of pinched toes! Bring cash or a check as they do not take credit card! There are a few banks in walking distance if you need.
-
I don't believe in luxury but I believe in quality, long lasting products, so I own a coupIe of nice stuff. When I damaged my favorite wallet with hand sanitizer, I almost cried. I brought it to 2 leather repair places and both of them said " there is no way to fix it, no one can fix it". I didn't believe them and I brought my wallet here. They told me they can but the damage will still be there, so I was not expecting it to be perfect.
When I picked it up, I couldn't locate where the damage was! Price was reasonable and they repaired other parts, too. I was so happy and they seemed happy that I was happy. It has been a while and it still looks good so I decided to write this review. -
This place is fantastic. I've been coming here for a while to drop of my boss' old shoes and purses and recently I started bringing in my personal items. They fixed up my favorite pair of pumps that I've had for over 5 years. They fixed the heel up and shined it like new. Surprisingly, it was cheap. I think it's cheap considering the location! They do exactly what you want in a timely fashion. I'm very happy with this place. I trust them with everything. They're wonderful here.
-
I have brought my purses and shoes for repair for years and m always satisfied with the results.
-
THIS IS THE SHOE GOD
If only you knew how good they were i have been coming to Arturo's family business since I was 10 and they can fix anything from a leather strap on a bag to your favorite distressed pair of classic ballet flats not to mention putting on new soles and heels to refurbish the worn out original -
Every since Arturo's was recommended to me, I have been extremely pleased with their level of skill, craftsmanship and service. I've brought several shoes here to be fixed, two complicated pairs that I'll share. First pair was a pair of Giuseppe sandals whew the strap broke from the wooden sole. I thought i would have to get rid of them, but took them to Arturo's and they look brand new!
Second pair, a pair of white ankle boots that has black scuff marks on the heels and sides. To my surprised, they look like completely NEW boots! White is a difficult color to match, but they did. One more thing, my boots weren't ready when I went to get them, so Artie hand-delivered them to me at my home. This was above and beyond customer service! I highly recommend Arturo's, you will NOT be disappointed. -
If you want the Best shoe repair go see Arturo does quality repairs at an affordable price don't let the rodeo Boulevard scare you his prices are really affordable
-
The best at fixing everything! I have been taking my riding boots there and Arturo's was the first to add a zipper in the back of my tall boots! Life changing! For the Equestrian industry as well! Not only do I take all my boots and shoes to him for repairs when needed, but he and his nephew are also amazing at dying silk shoes to match my custom dresses & gowns! I even took my snake skin evening bag to get repaired and add a buckle to. He is the best at repairing all accessories!
-
Excellent work at this shop. Quick 1 week turnaround and really pleased with their work. Highly recommend and it's worth the drive if you're not a local.
-
Arturo is amazing! He is quick and precise in his work! Longtime staple in Beverly Hills for shoe repair and for good reason! He's one of the best.
-
Great place for high end purses! Came by bc the magnetic closure on my ysl broke. They fixed it within a week but it broke again and they fixed it again with no questions asked.
I also got a pair of boots fixed up here but I thought they did just a decent job on those at a higher price point than necessary so I'll probably go elsewhere for my shoes.
-
OMG!!!!
Hermes said my ostrich wallet from them could not be cleaned after I spilled oil on it
"Throw it away or use it as is!"
That's what Hermes said to me
I brought it into Arturos with a no real thought that they could do anything
Unbelievable!!!!!
It's perfect
It's like new
It's fantastic
I'm so excited and thrilled
I LOVE you Arturo!!!!!
You are the BEST!!!! -
Fantastic work and extremely fair prices they do great work on high end brands. I've had them do work on Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Moschino as well as older no-name, but sentimental pieces. I trust them to do it all.
-
Good shoe repair
-
Always amazing what they can do for my wife's shoes and leather jackets, they fix and remove stains that initially seem impossible. They are very reasonably priced as well when compared to fixing your item to a practically brand new state!
-
Awesome!
Arturo's is the best - they'll revive any shoe you have, can hack off a bit of the heel on a pair that you think are too high, or fix worn out soles plus the usual - weather proofing, polishing, and general repair. I've seen people bring in shoes from as high end as Prada, and you can trust these guys - they're awesome and do great work. Very good pricing - my stiletto boots are a tad shorter in the heel, making them easier to walk in and it cost me $12. Pros: excellent repair, great prices -
Best in LA
I highly recommend this place next time you have to get a pair of shoes fixed...don't let the look of the place fool you...it's small and messy...but just looking at the amount AND designer names of bags and shoes they have fixed at this place--you can fully trust them. I just had a pair of my beloved Moschino's fixed and they're as good as new...LOVE THEM!!! and it only cost me $11 Pros: prices, quality of work Cons: parking -
I love this place
This place is absolutely awesome. I brought a pair of near garbage Stuart Weitzmans to them and basically told them to do whatever it takes so they look like new. I mean, these shoes were busted up. They told me they would re-dye the leather and put a new sole. I picked them up 4 days later and now I have a new pair of shoes. They are friendly and professional. They are reasonably priced for their services. Highly recommend them. Pros: Their services! Cons: Parking -
Not only did work, but LISTENED
Arturo himself greeted me, and unlike so many other shoe repairmen in Beverly Hills, actually LISTENED to my problem. Thanks! -
Review
Very professional, great quality work and reasonably priced
